Skinny-Dippin - Indoor Heated Pool, Dog Friendly

Ok, to start off it wasn’t all bad. The pool was supposed to be heated… definitely was not. Wife went to take a shower and there were hairs all in the shower floor. Also the water pressure was non existent. The driveway was an absolute nightmare. The whole reason we picked this place was for the heated pool for the kids and they never got to use it because it was literally freezing cold. Overall disappointment just due to the amount we paid and the amenities that were useable. We did see 5 bears which was cool. Probably wouldn’t ever book here again

We were thankful when we got up the mountain & up the very steep driveway! When we checked in we realized we were missing pillowcases & that there was a huge leak & moldy patch on the ceiling of one of the rooms we had planed to use. We closed the door & tried to contact the owner. Of course we were met with an automated response & ended up putting clothes on the pillows for the night & making 2 of our kids share a bed. We finally were able to get through to the owner the next day via text. It was met with an “oh snap! I’ll send someone out.” No apology ever. Someone did come out. Note- that driveway is one way. We were blocked in once they came to fix the roof. Thankfully we were able to leave when he left & he came back to work while we were gone. The mold however remained- hopefully he’ll have it properly remediated because it was seriously bad. We left with colds, dry scratchy throats & I can’t help but wonder if that was a factor. The house overall is nice- the kitchen has most everything you’d need to make a simple meal. Having the pool was a huge plus since we had so many rainy days! The kids loved that. The hot tub was nice too, but difficult to access & because it’s not covered we weren’t able to use it much due to the rain! This experience has definitely altered our future plans for how our family will vacation. Not having received any sort of apology for the major inconvenience of not having an entire room we paid for is very off putting.
