Cozy Cub Cabin - Movie Room, Games, & Hot Tub!

The cabin was lovely, secluded but still close to the aquarium. Confusing the first time to get there as it’s all the way up a driveway and on narrow back roads but once you figure it out it’s beautiful. Everything worked but the bathtub stopper

The driveway is very steep and with the incoming snow storm no precautions were taken to improve the accessibility of the cabin. We made it up the first night, then the driveway froze over and we slid down the hill into the intersection. So the rest of our stay I had to assist my pregnant wife up and down that steep hill whenever we needed to go anywhere. Also upon arrival we found a used diaper full of feces in the cabinet, during this time we also discovered all of the pipes were frozen so from 6pm Friday night to Sunday morning we couldn’t use the bathroom indoors, wash our hand in any of the sinks or take showers. This snow storm was apparent to everyone but I was assuming our host would’ve have taken better precautions as this trip was booked months in advance.

House was perfect for a short get away. Location was perfect. Off the beaten path but close enough to all the gatlinburg attractions. Would stay here again if we are in the area.

This was our second time staying at this Cabin. We love that it has the hot tub, privacy, arcade games, and the movie theater. Prior to booking I had messaged the host to which took three days before I was given a response. A friend of mine had found the property on another site and had messaged them as well to how I finally got a response. This did worry me, with if anything were to go wrong what would my response time be once I got there? I decided to chance it anyways knowing how much we loved the cabin and booked. The cabin had everything we needed and was very clean except for the master bathroom. The toilet and shower were very visibly dirty and had been for some time. I was disappointed with that & shared pictures with the host to which he said he would refund only $20 of our $165 cleaning fee back to which we didn’t receive. Overall, I would rate this Cabin 4 out of 5 stars. With improved communication and some more TLC with the cleaning crew this could easily be a five star.
